Old Faithful and Upper Geyser Basin delivered the most famous Yellowstone boardwalk day.
Midway and Fountain Paint Pot brought the loudest geothermal colors, steam, and bison-on-the-boardwalk feel.
Norris felt harsher and more mineral than the other geyser basins, especially around Porcelain Basin.
