This site is built around a seven-month RV trip across the country, but it’s really about how we approach travel and what it takes to make trips like this work.
Trips like this don’t fall neatly into one style.
Some parts took planning. Campgrounds, timing, and access all mattered if we wanted things to go smoothly. Other parts we left open on purpose.
We did both.
The trip itself even shifted along the way. What started as an eight-month plan turned into seven. Not because anything went wrong, just because plans evolve once you’re actually out there living them.
And honestly, the best moments came from that balance.
