We arrived in Yellowstone after an amazing stay in the Tetons, ready to see what this park had in store. At Bridge Bay Campground, we crossed paths with the resident elk, a beautiful bull with a nice set of antlers casually munching on grass amongst the campers.
That afternoon, we biked to the park’s only natural arch: the Natural Bridge, standing 51 ft tall with a 29 ft span.
After that, we continued biking along Bridge Bay Marina Drive, which runs alongside Yellowstone Lake. We stopped at a beachside overlook for a short walk. Along the shore, we spotted crows, ducks, and a few Killdeer hanging out near the water. On the way back to camp, we were met with another bull elk along the road, though not nearly as impressive as the first.
