Quick Take

Tallahassee adds variety by combining a few different experiences in one place. You’ve got lakeside camping at Lake Talquin State Park, landscaped gardens at Alfred B. Maclay Gardens State Park, and a connection to architectural history through the Lewis Spring House, designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. While we were able to tour the home, that experience is no longer open to the public, making it one of those timing-dependent stops you can’t always replicate.
