After leaving Flaming Gorge, we rolled into Pinedale, Wyoming and settled into our campsite along Fremont Lake. The lake sat just steps from the camper, giving us an immediate reward after the drive with calm water and sweeping mountain views.

The rest of the evening was all about settling in and quiet lakeside setting. Fremont Lake is long and deep, backed by the rugged peaks of the Wind River Range, and it did not take long to realize we had picked a pretty great place to spend a few days.
